Pulling Facebook, Twitter, Picasa, Google Maps, Flickr and Blogger (to name a few) into a simple timeline format makes information easier to process by breaking it down into smaller chunks in an annotated fashion that is easy to understand -- the order in which the information was posted.
It's a great way to pool information from different platforms without clunky widgets and make a site multimedia with videos, pictures and audio.
